Therapeutic taping has been used for more than 100 years to reduce pain, improve function, and help prevent injury. With the growing number of elastic taping products and training programs, selecting evidence-based techniques and knowing when to apply them can be challenging.

This two-day, hands-on course provides an evidence-based approach to therapeutic taping for physical therapists, occupational therapists, and athletic trainers. Participants will learn the theory, clinical reasoning, and practical application of proprioceptive elastic taping for all body regions, incorporating techniques developed by leaders including McConnell, Mulligan, Kenzo Kase (Kinesio®), and traditional athletic taping methods.

Applications for orthopedic, neurologic, pediatric, geriatric, and lymphedema populations will be covered. Emphasis is placed on clinical decision-making rather than a cookbook approach, enabling participants to confidently integrate taping techniques into practice based on current research and clinical evidence. The course also includes discussion of billing and reimbursement considerations.

A certificate of attendance for 15 Contact Hourswill be awarded to each participant. All Therapy Network Seminars are pre‐approved for CEUs in the state where the course is conducted when required for PT, OT, ATs & Assistants.
